ICYS National Youth Week Youth Market

Are you a young person aged 15 to 24? Are you creative and do you have a skill you want to showcase to earn you some pocket money for the school holidays?

With the assistance of a planning committee made up of young people and ICYS staff, ICYS will be running our inaugural ICYS Youth Markets on Friday 10th April from 3pm to 6pm in Darcy Doyle Place Ipswich.  The markets are an opportunity for young people to showcase their skills and earn some extra pocket money in recognition of their creative prowess.

We want YOU to get involved in this celebration of young people:
• We have stallholder positions available for young people to sell anything from Art, Paintings, Sketches, Photography, Craft, Decorated Photo Frames, Knitted Accessories, Homemade Jewellery, Earrings, Bracelets, Necklaces, Friendship Bands, Badges, Homemade Clothing, Tote Bags, Dream Catchers, Candles, Homewares, Pot Plants, Garden Ware, Wooden Gifts and Knick Knacks – anything you can dream up!
• We are also offering busking spots for young people to showcase their music and performance skills. You could sing, dance, perform a skit – any way you can think of to entertain people. Or perhaps you’d like to offer an activity stall providing Face Painting, Balloon Tying, Craft Activities
• Or you could sign up to volunteer on the day!
